Key Policy Terms
Sexual Harassment
All forms of 性 harassment are prohibited under the Title IX Sexual Harassment Policy 暴力 includes, but is not limited to:
Sexual Harassment
The Universities prohibit, under this Policy, 基于性别的行为，且满足以下一个或多个条件:
- An employee of the University conditioning the provision of an aid, 好处, or service of the University on an individual’s participation in unwelcome 性 conduct; or,

Sexual Assault

Sexual Assault – Rape

Sexual Assault – Fondling

Statutory Rape

Dating and Domestic Violence

Domestic Violence

Dating Violence

Understanding Consent
What is consent?
An understandable exchange of affirmative words or actions, 这表明双方都愿意参与双方同意的性活动.
Consent must be informed, freely and actively given. While nonverbal consent is possible (through active participation), it is best to obtain verbal consent.
What is not consent:

- Consent to previous 性 experiences
- Incapacitation

Incapacitation
An individual who is incapacitated may not give consent.

Other Types of Incapacitation
Persons under age 16; persons who are intellectually incapable of understanding the implications and consequences of the act or actions in question; and persons who are physically helpless, 等. A physically helpless person is one who is asleep, 停电, involuntarily physically restrained, unconscious or, for any other reason, unable to communicate unwillingness to engage in any act.
